A branded QR code with your logo in the middle looks far more trustworthy than a plain one — and trust means more scans. The trick is keeping it readable.
Use high error correction
QR codes have built-in redundancy. Higher error correction lets a logo cover the center without stopping the code from scanning.
Keep the contrast strong
Dark modules on a light background scan best. Avoid low-contrast color combos and never invert (light on dark) unless you test it.
Don’t crowd it
Keep the logo to roughly the center fifth of the code, and preserve the “quiet zone” — the empty margin around the pattern.
Always test before printing
Scan it with a couple of phones at the size you’ll actually print. Then design your branded code with confidence.
